Dining at the Gallery Restaurant gives you the chance to enjoy delicious, professionally prepared food at a fraction of the price you’d pay at a high street restaurant.

Your Experience

Our Hospitality and Catering Department aims to serve cuisine of the highest quality, while helping students gain the experience and training needed to master their craft.

The Gallery Restaurant is run by students with the assistance of professional chefs. This means your experience will be similar to visiting a high-end restaurant; you’ll enjoy a three course meal with excellent standards of hospitality, a licensed bar and all within a quiet, relaxing atmosphere.

Your meal will be freshly prepared, cooked and served by our students as part of their course, all of whom pride themselves on their silver service standard of waiting.

Our Students

Our students love what they do and want to do well. By taking part successfully in competitions at a national level, their reputation is first-class.

Our trophy cabinet includes national winner of Zest Quest Asia and overall winner of Wessex Salon Culinaire. This is thanks to our industry-trained teachers, regular guest chefs, demonstrations and work placements.

We are open during term-time for lunch and dinner.

Monday – Lunch at 12.00pm
Tuesday – Lunch at 12.00pm
Wednesday – Closed for training
Thursday – Dinner at 6.00pm
Friday – Buffet at 12.00pm-1.30pm

Parties of Ten or More

We can accommodate up to 40 people for lunch/dinner and up to 50 people on themed nights. Whatever the occasion, whether it be a quiet dinner, a birthday celebration, a small business lunch or corporate event we have superb facilities to ensure its success. For parties of ten or more a full, non-refundable payment is required two weeks prior to the date booked. All cheques should be made payable to Farnborough College of Technology.
