Apprenticeships are open to everyone above 16 years old, whether you are just leaving education, have been working for some years or are seeking to start a new career. As long as you are, or want to be, in full-time employment and you live in England, you can apply for an apprenticeship.
Your employer will support you in developing the skills needed to gain your qualification while you continue to work. You will either be required to undertake your apprenticeship 100% in the workplace alongside your job or spend four days each week in the workplace and attend college one day a week (during term time); or sometimes the programme is delivered as a mixture of college and work-based training sessions.
Our Business Services team delivers training and support to apprentices across a large geographical area. Don’t worry if you don’t live in Farnborough or Aldershot, we support apprentices in many areas such as Guildford, Basingstoke, Woking and London. Contact us if you want advice on our programmes.
The apprenticeship programme consists of three areas including a National Vocational Qualification (NVQ), a Technical Certificate and Functional Skills.
