This course is run in collaboration with local companies to provide an exciting programme for highly motivated and committed students. This will be a one-year full time course gaining practical and theoretical skills. they will have the opportunity to take part in work experience with local aircraft companies during the College holidays. Currently the College runs this successful scheme in collaboration with British Airways, TAG, PremiAir, Gama and ATC Lasham.
All programmes lead to a recognised national qualification. Students completing the National Diploma programmes may progress to our own degree programmes accredited by Surrey University.
Aircraft Maintenance students may have the opportunity of an interview with the companies where they have taken part in work experience. Successful candidates will be selected to work for their host companies and attend College on a day release basis. Students may eventually have the opportunity to progress to take the CAA Licensed Engineer examinations to gain qualified status.
