Contact Training Enterprise and we will send you the programme details on the Apprenticeship of your choice. Ensure you are aware of any entry requirements for the course.
To be eligible for an Apprenticeship you need to be in full time employment.
If you do not have employment:
Send us a completed Apprenticeship application form and we will invite you to an Apprenticeship information meeting.
Speak to family and friends, they may have a contact that works in your area of interest and who may employ an apprentice.
Visit your local Connexions Advisor, they can with your job search and will also assist you build your CV and offer interview skills advice.
Look at local newspapers, as well as job adverts local employers advertise their services, consider approaching them before they advertise positions.
Work experience, part time work, temporary jobs and volunteering can also be useful. They can turn into full time positions if you’re a good worker and a job becomes available.
If you already have employment arranged:
Send us a completed aplication form or Email trainingenterprise@farn-ct.ac.uk -Ensure you include details of your job and employer.
You will then be invited to an interview and basic skills assessment at the college.
We will arrange to visit your employer to complete a Health and Safety and employment check.
Your Apprenticeship will not be confirmed until we have carried out employment checks, you have had a formal interview at the college, have successfully completed all assessments and possess the necessary GCSE grades required for your Apprenticeship.
