Apprenticeships

Do you want to have a job, earn a wage and get a qualification at the same time? Then an Apprenticeship could be just what you are looking for.

Apprenticeships are for people aged 16 and over who are, or want to be, in full-time employment. Your employer will support you in developing the skills needed to gain your qualification while you continue to work.

Apprenticeships in Guildford, Basingstoke, Woking or further afield...

Our Business Services team delivers training and support to apprentices across a large geographical area. Don't worry if you don't live in Farnborough or Aldershot, we support apprentices in many areas such as Guildford, Basingstoke, Woking and London. Contact us if you want advice on our schemes.

Apprentices either undertake their Apprenticeship 100% in the workplace alongside their job, or spend four days each week in the workplace and attend College one day a week (during term time).

The Apprenticeship programme consists of three areas including a National Vocational Qualification (NVQ), a Technical Certificate and Key Skills.

What's great about taking an Apprenticeship?

• Earn a wage – earn as you learn, so no need to build up debts whilst you get your qualifications

• Get free training – your training is often 100% funded by the government

• Get relevant skills – improve your chances of getting the job you really want

• Go further – your Apprenticeship can open the door to an Advanced Apprenticeship, Foundation Degree or University

• Get support - improve those essential literacy and numeracy skills along the way
