How does an NVQ work?
The aim of these qualifications is to recognise the skills and competences of employees in the workplace. An NVQ is delivered in the workplace and is assessed by a portfolio of evidence collected by the employee and their assessor. Evidence to be collected will include: workplace observations, witness testimonies, professional discussion, oral and written questions and work product evidence.

The assessor will also provide valuable skills training to your employee as well as assessment.

How do we get started?
Please contact us to discuss eligibility and we will arrange an appointment for a member of our employer engagement team to visit you to discuss your needs.

When can we start?
You can start at any time during the year.

What is my responsibility?
It is important that you fully support your employee throughout the length of the NVQ.  For full details please see our Business Plus Employer Pledge.

What Qualification will my employees gain?
Your employees will gain an NVQ in the sector they wish to study, ie: NVQ Level 2 Customer Services.
