Hampshire Business School part of Farnborough College of Technology celebrated the launch of their Centre of Vocational Excellence (CoVE) in Business, Financial and Accounting Services.
The launch recognises the close collaboration with Highbury College, Portsmouth in achieving this quality standard. This CoVE is designed to make sure that training provision meets the skills needs of business and industry.
Christine Davis College Principal opened the proceedings thanking speakers and local employers for attending and responding so positively to this initiative. The College continues to work with employers to meet their needs and these events are important in establishing that.
Stephen Smith (pictured with the Principal) is the Regional Manager of the Financial Services Skills Council. Mr Smith outlined the work of the FSSC in developing qualifications for the financial services sector.

Farnborough College of Technology is committed to providing top-class facilities for its students this is the third CoVE the College has gained with accreditation in Aeronautical and Aerospace and also Applied ICT for business.
