Creativity, fashion, artistic flair, extravagant creations and up to date looks
filled the Concept Salon at Farnborough College of Technology in their annual Hair and Beauty Competition.
Wedding, cut and colour, freestyle, and men’s hair were the categories that students competed against one other along with the celebrity and musical themed make up competition.
The level 3 hair students produced a series of looks to show case the theme of magical fantasy with the full time students producing looks for the alternative hair show.
The looks, energy and the effort put in by the students and their models were spectacular and inspiring to the 200 visitors who came to see the show.
Local hair salons ‘Remington Harrow’ Farnham, ‘Accents’ Yateley, ‘Kerry Roberts’ Camberely, ‘Pimms’ Aldershot, and ‘Ikon’ Fleet came to show case the current high street looks and donated vouchers for services in their salons as raffle prizes. The students raised a total of £250 for Breast Cancer Research UK.
External salon owners came to judge and advise students regarding the categories they had competed in and the prizes were donated from Capital Hair and Beauty Aldershot, V Salon Frimley, Kerry Roberts, Denman, Nirvana Spa, St Tropez, Rand Rocket, and Wahl.
