Viviana – Photography (HE)

Former HE Photography student – Now studying a Masters in Art & Politics at Goldsmiths, University of London

I chose University Centre Farnborough because it was local. I did the Art Foundation degree with the University Centre where I met the lecturers. I was choosing between two universities but I chose Farnborough for the small groups, flexibility, and because the teaching is so personalised. The teacher’s feedback was the best part for me.

The teachers at University Centre Farnborough know their craft and I felt very supported. The quality of teaching and the contact hours, friendliness and openness really help you – they want you to succeed.

I’ve now started a Masters in Art and Politics at Goldsmiths, University of London. As part of my first-year individual art project, I collaborated with a local charity to produce images and videos to support their work in helping feeding the community. I’d like to work in an academic surrounding in the future, either teaching or doing a PHd.
