To strengthen and build the low carbon sector further, and support the roll out of the Green Homes Grant scheme, the government has launched a Green Homes Grant Skills Training competition.
The aim of the competition is to award grant funding to a range of suppliers to deliver subsidised, accredited training to the low carbon installation sector. The competition is funded by the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) and is being run by the Midlands Energy Hub.
Farnborough College of Technology has been awarded funding under the Green Home Grant (GHG) Skills Training Competition to deliver subsidised, accredited training to the low carbon installation sector to support the industry to install energy efficient measures.
These courses have been subsidised for a short period by grant funding and are available at a very low fee or free in some cases. The Green Homes Grant Skills – training scheme will end in September 2021.
To become registered as a Green Homes Grant installer you need to gain PAS 2030, MCS Certification and register with TrustMark, and guess what? We can also advise and support with that too. For more information please email firstname.lastname@example.org in the first instance with Green Homes Grant in the title or visit https://www.farn-ct.ac.uk
