Illustrators are usually commissioned to create drawings that tell a story, message or idea for a variety of brands, advertisements, books, magazines, packaging and more. It can be an exciting varied role that puts creativity at the heart of your career.
At Farnborough, you will work on live industry briefs, design work placements and enter international design competitions. You will also be taught the latest Adobe Creative Suite software including Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects in up-to-date Apple Mac studios.
This course explores a number of areas of illustration; from editorial and character design to comic books and book cover design. You will develop a portfolio to industry standard, preparing you for your transition into employment or further study.
