The course covers the skills needed at level 3 to carry out a massage treatment with the underpinning theory to support knowledge and consultation with clients and health and safety practice.

This course is designed for adults wanting to learn a new skill or develop a new career path. Practical skills and guidance with home study to support course work and underpinning knowledge.

Text book recommended to purchase approx £30
If you are aged 19 or over and are starting a course at Level 3 to Level 6 you may qualify for an Advanced Learner Loan from the government, which can cover the costs of your tuition fees.

How will I be taught?
- Home study packs are given to ensure in depth anatomy and physiology with tutor guidance
- Practical skills developed each week to perfect technique and client consultation
- Home study is essential to perfect the techniques of massage and learn all the anatomy and physiology elements to complete the exam

- Online exam in anatomy and physiology / health and safety and client care.
- Practical skills on a client are observed by an assessor and marked

Level 3 Beauty Therapy Diploma or employment within the Beauty Therapy industry.
Entry Requirements
How will I be assessed?
Students will be screened to check literacy and numeracy. In addition if English is not the first language applicants will be asked to do a Diagnostic Test.
What previous qualifications and experience will I need?
Mature students over the age of 19 years. No previous qualifications are needed.
Applicants will need to attend an interview and have a satisfactory reference.
You should have personal pride in your work and strive for high standard of perfection with enthusiasm and motivation for study with 100% attendance.
