About the course
This course is for young people aged 16-25 who have attended a school for students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities, studying at Pre-entry Level and/or Entry Level 1 and who are likely to need continued support throughout their working life.
The aim of this programme is to provide students with the opportunities to develop transferable communication skills and generic work skills. Each student will have the chance to take part in a supported work experience.

Reviews are held with students, parents/carers and relevant support agencies to discuss and plan future steps. Successful completion of the course can lead to voluntary work, supported employment, continued vocational training or other part time education.
