How will I be taught?

This training programme is mainly delivered and assessed in the workplace. There may also be additional workshops in College depending on the learner.

What modules are covered?

The programme covers a range of skills and includes the following components:

NVQ Diploma in Marketing (Level 3)

Mandatory Units

  • Analyse competitor activity
  • Contribute to the development of a marketing plan
  • Evaluate and improve own performance in a business environment
  • Work with other people in a business environment

Optional Units (plus other options)

  • Conduct market research
  • Evaluate market research date
  • Contribute to the preparation of a marketing strategy
  • Contribute to the development of new products and/or services

Entry Requirements

What previous qualifications and experience will I need?

The entry criteria are staff aged 16 and over with GCSEs A-C in Maths and English. GCSE’s will be considered along with the results of an initial assessment.
