This course is suited to those with an entrepreneurial drive and a business focused mindset, thinking of becoming a manager or running their own business. You may already have studied business at A level, are currently studying it at Level 3, or have experience from an Access to Higher Education course.
During the first year of this two-year course, you will study topics that cover the foundations of business management, from business environments and principles, to accounting, law and ethics. With this knowledge in place, you will then start to explore the wider world of international business and data technology alongside creating your own portfolio of work. In your final year, you will study topics such as sustainability and digital media in business while working towards your final year project.

During the course, you will be asked to communicate ideas, concepts and research findings using different modes of communication such as oral, written and visual means.
Modules will be taught through both workshop and lectures, with the opportunity for you to undertake independent research, assess its usefulness and draw reasonable conclusions. Students will also be required to lead discussions, present arguments and deliver presentations.
This course and its modules are currently subject to validation.
During this course, you will create engaging presentations, answer essay questions and create a final year project (dissertation) all of which will go towards earning credits for your course.
On successful completion of this course, you may progress onto a Masters’ qualification or onto professional business programmes such as CIPD, CIM, CIMA.
