About the course

Are you a driven and ambitious individual with an interest in leadership and management roles? The Pearson BTEC Level 3 Certificate for Managers will allow you to develop the technical knowledge needed to prepare for employment, or, if you already work in the sector, to progress in your career by achieving a widely recognised qualification. 

This course is also suitable to support the off-the-job training and development of learners on the Team Leader/Supervisor apprenticeship programme, by helping you to develop and apply the technical behavioural knowledge and understanding required to become competent and successful in a first-line management job role. 

Key responsibilities of this type of role are likely to include:  

  • Supporting, managing, and developing team members 
  • Managing projects 
  • Planning and monitoring workloads and resources 
  • Delivering operational plans 
  • Resolving problems 
  • Building relationships (internally and externally)
