This qualification is designed to increase learners’ understanding of the concept of lean management, enabling them to implement the productivity needs analysis process. They will know about continuous improvement techniques, (KAIZEN), and ways to eliminate variance from process in the workplace. Their understanding of the principles and techniques of workplace organisation and what makes an effective team and team leader, will improve. Finally they will be able to use visual indicators to improve the work environment.

Delivery and Duration
You will be provided with the learning materials either online and/or hardcopies and you will have the support of a knowledgeable assessor/tutor who will give you guidance and feedback on the course as you complete it. This course takes between 2 to 6 months to complete.
To be awarded the Level 2 Certificate in Lean Organisation Management Techniques, learners are required to successfully complete 3 mandatory units.
Learners who complete this course may wish to go on to complete the Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Business and Administration or the Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Team Leading.
What previous qualifications and experience will I need?
There are no specific prior qualifications needed to access this qualification. However, learners might find it useful if they have already completed a Level 1 qualification. You will be invited in to complete an induction and inital assessment.
Due to government funding these courses are available free of charge; subject to the learners meeting the set eligibility. You must have lived in the UK/EU for the past 3 years and be over 19 years old. There may be a fee should you withdraw from the course.
