How will I be taught?

Students must achieve an 80% minimum attendance requirement and commit to self-directed study when preparing for assignments. The 12 weeks are not consecutive and college holidays are taken as indicated on the college website.

We hope that our classes will be face-to face teaching where possible. However, please note that due to the Coronavirus pandemic situation, as is the case in many colleges and universities, there may be the need at some point for classes to be taught on-line.  You will, therefore, need technology that can support the use of Microsoft Teams.

New Online Live option. We are also offering a new Online Live option, whereby students can attend the course remotely via Microsoft Teams, with compulsory face to face attendance for some sessions.  The same attendance rules of 80% apply.

What modules are covered?

Unit 1: Campaign Process

This unit explores the nature of communication and the process of planning a campaign.  All campaigns commence with an internal and external situational analysis and this audit sets the scene for an effective plan.

Unit 2: Planning Campaigns in Action

This unit investigates the key components of a successful campaign plan, how these are integrated together and implemented in practice.

Unit 3: Campaign Success

This unit explains the principles of monitoring a marketing campaign to ensure objectives are met and how to undertake a post campaign evaluation.

How will I be assessed?

The student will produce an assignment based on a theme and an organisation of choice. There is a well-stocked library within the College and individual lecturers will advise on recommended texts.
