Each module can be studied independently and in any order. Students can enrol for the entire course of three modules before September or enrol for each module individually. This provides three possible start dates for the course during the academic year. There is no obligation to study all three modules.

What will I study?

This course will enable you to take both a traditional and digital strategic approach to marketing planning, integrating digital strategy, models, frameworks and techniques throughout to achieve competitive advantage. You will be able to recognise the significance of situation analysis and use techniques to assess the external and internal environments that enable effective decision making. You will also be able to apply all stages within the marketing planning process – from the audit, through strategic decision making, to implementation of plans across both traditional and digital channels. How will I be taught?

We hope that our classes will be face-to face teaching where possible. However, please note that due to the Coronavirus pandemic situation, as is the case in many colleges and universities, there may be the need at some point for classes to be taught on-line.  You will, therefore, need technology that can support the use of Microsoft Teams.

New Online Live option. We are also offering a new Online Live option, whereby students can attend the course remotely via Microsoft Teams, with compulsory face to face attendance for some sessions.  The same attendance rules of 80% apply.

Students must achieve an 80% minimum attendance requirement and commit to self-directed study when preparing for assignments. The workshops are optional but provide an opportunity to progress the assignment in a supportive environment. The 30 weeks are not consecutive and college holidays are taken as indicated on the college website.
