This introductory course provides you with the opportunity to try out a range of textile techniques. You will learn the basics of tray dyeing, indigo shibori, cyanotypes and eco-printing and will be able to create a range of reference sample fabrics. The course is designed to give students hands-on practical experience in a range of textile processes which could then be used in their own creative textile/fashion work.

Equipment and dyes will be provided during the course, students will need to provide their own 100% cotton and silk fabric and medium/heavyweight watercolour paper.
