This creative technology programme is filled with modern topics to take your interest in technology further. By the end of the course you will have worked with new technologies, gained exciting new technical skills and will feel ready for a level 3 IT course.
This course is perfect if you have just left school and have a strong interest in pursuing a career in the information technology sector. The course is designed to inspire and enthuse learners to become technology savvy – to be producers of technology products and systems rather than just be consumers of them. It will give you the opportunity to gain a broad knowledge and understanding of the information technology sector and some aspects of the creative industries e.g. computer games or animations development.

You will be taught by a team of IT experts through lectures, presentations and interactive workshops.
Assessment is through coursework and exams. Grades of Pass, Merit, Distinction or Distinction* are awarded depending on the level of achievement.
Successful completion of the programme with a merit grade or higher makes our level 3 IT programme a natural route of progression. You could also explore related apprenticeships or look to start your career at a junior level.
