About the course

A Level 3 Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring is ideal if you are teaching, coaching, or training and need to be able to coach and mentor individuals in a range of settings. It is also suited to those who want to get into coaching and mentoring on a part-time basis. During this qualification, you will be taught the core skills, knowledge, and understanding needed to support other learners in a coaching and mentoring capacity.

On successful completion of this course, you could go on to study for the Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice.
Entry Requirements
What is the entry process?
- Grade 4/C in GCSE English or equivalent
- Occupational competence in the vocational area in which you are providing coaching and mentoring
- Successful interview with a course tutor at enrolment
You must also be occupationally competent in the vocational area in which you are providing coaching and mentoring.
How will I be assessed?
Throughout this course you will complete a portfolio of evidence consisting of:
- Practice demonstration/assignment/assessment
- Observation
- Professional discussion/vocational competence discussion
