This course is for anyone wishing to become an Internal Verifier of qualifications in the lifelong learning sector. This unit is specifically for those who internally quality assure assessors and assessment, but who do not manage the centre or other internal quality assurers.
The course is delivered as two initial sessions of lecture, discussion and practical exercises, followed by individual support tutorials until completion of the award. You will need to have two assessor candidates who are working towards, or already have, their assessor qualification and have two candidates of their own to assess.
Completion of the course will enable candidates to internally verify in the area in which they already have experience as a qualified assessor for the past 12 months and can be used for part or full-time employment anywhere in the country.
