About the course

Farnborough College of Technology is blazing a trail for ambitious students through this prestigious new qualification. Designed with great input from employers, the content is up-to-date, relevant, engaging, and can lead straight into a career.

Turn your love of IT into an exciting career with this digital T Level in IT support services. Equivalent to three A levels, this course will prepare you for a variety of support roles within the digital sector, including:

During the course, you will spend 80% of your time at college and 20% on placements gaining first-hand experience. You will learn transferable skills in IT and computing to show universities and employers your passion, knowledge, and confidence in the subject. 

Our three Digital T Level courses share the same first year units and then you specialise in the second year. The purpose of the Level 3 Technical qualification in Digital is to ensure that students have the knowledge and skills needed to progress into highly skilled employment, an Apprenticeship or higher level study.

Assessment is through a variety of methods including exams, practical projects set by employers, case studies, presentations and externally examined coursework tasks.

Entry Requirements

What previous qualifications and experience will I need?

From school:

  • Five GCSEs at grades 9-4 (to include English and maths GCSE at 9-4)

From college:

  • Relevant level 2 qualification at merit grade or higher (to include English and maths at level 2 or higher)
