Open Event: Access to Higher Education Diploma

The event runs from 4-7.30pm but you are welcome to attend at any point during this time and discover how you could benefit from returning to study.

This Open Event is designed so you can find out more about the courses we offer that provide a route into university for mature (19+) students, as well as to chat to our teachers about the course and whether it is the right option for you. Register your place on the Open Event via the green button.

If you missed out on a formal qualification at college, an Access to Higher Education Diploma can provide you with a route to university-level courses (higher education) faster than you might think.

  • Course lasts just one year (full-time)
  • Hundreds of former students have gone on to university
  • Improves your confidence, refreshes your skills and unlocks new ones
  • No upfront tuition fees with a student loan
  • Student loans are written off when you complete a higher education course

Your choice of diplomas are in a range of subjects, all designed so you’ll have a head-start on a university-level course. Your diploma could be the first step in careers as diverse as nursing, criminology, teaching, pharmaceuticals, journalism and many more.

Discover more about our Access to Higher Education Diplomas by talking to our staff and seeing our facilities this Spring.

You will be able to:

  • What you could do after your Diploma

Each year, around 20,000 Access to Higher Education Diploma students apply for a degree course at a UK university and go on to study a wide range of subjects. The qualification is also comparable to two or three A Levels.

The event runs from 4-7.30pm but you are welcome to attend at any point during this time and discover how you could benefit from returning to study.
