Social media and digital content volunteer

Website Camberley and District Job Club


AIM: To support C&DJC with their social media presence via Facebook posts, local website posting and feed ideas and information to improve the Job Club’s website.


1. We have reach between 75 and 145 people with our Facebook posts and have 8 to 10 people engaging in each of our posts.  We want to increase these numbers with a planned approach to posting.  The posts are local training opportunities and governmental and business initiatives.

2. We link with community partners facebook sites and local job sites.  The DV will sources leaflets and information to post and load them onto our Facebook page weekly or twice weekly. We want to build our community of Facebook groups to share posts with.

3. We send weekly emails to all our clients on job vacancies.  The DV will create these emails which include our job search list and vacancies from other local organisations.
4. Our website www.camberleydistrictjobclub.com is updated regularly.  The DV will input into developing the website to improve ‘the look’, how the information is presented and how the website is navigated. We currently attract between 3000 to 5000 page views annually and want to increase this number.

1. Volunteer(s) is accountable to the Job Club Administrative Assistant (AA).  The AA will advise of what the Job Club specifically needs DVs to do.
2. Initially there to be two digital volunteers (DV) and full training will be given, including username and passwords.
3. Catch up with AA bi-weekly for Facebook posts and website updates.  If two DVs then each to report back alternate weeks
4. Any short-term issues to be reported ASAP to the AA
5. Monthly catch ups for updating website and ideas to improve digital presence.
6. Updates to be discussed by the Core Group and any changes agreed to be made as soon as is practically possible.
