National Apprenticeships Week 2022
The week brings together businesses and apprentices across the country to shine a light on the positive impact that apprenticeships make to individuals, businesses and the wider economy.
At Farnborough College of Technology, apprenticeships are a big part of what we do
During the week we will be:
- Re-launching our Virtual Open Event for Apprentices – visit www.virtualfarnborough.com for on-demand videos from staff and apprentices to help you learn more about what it’s really like to be an apprentice – and what your options are
- Inviting companies large and small to attend a webinar where they can learn more about the opportunities available to them. Register your place at www.farn-ct.ac.uk/events-in-person/
- Drop-in Surgery for anyone interested in Apprenticeships. Visit the Careers Library in Learner Services on Monday 7 February between 10am and 4pm, or Friday 11 February between 10am and 2pm
- Announcing new workshops to help students apply to apprenticeships and learn more about what it takes to write a successful application. Farnborough College of Technology students will be invited to these by their tutor
- Announcing new talks to help our own apprentices discover the ins and outs of self employment and emerging technology
- Celebrating our apprentices’ successes on social media throughout the week
- Sharing current apprenticeship vacancies so you can start making an application, or see what might be involved for future vacancies
Careers Fair
Don’t forget – our College Careers Fair on the 9th March will also have a number of employers with Apprenticeship Vacancies attending.
