Our Media students have put their creative skills to the test this Septmeber! Three fantastic, student-produced films have be entered into the College Filmmaking Challenge.
The College Filmmaking Challenge is a competition for students studying at A Level or BTEC Level 3. This year, students have been challenged with producing a short, four minute film based on the title “A Soft Touch”. Students are given creative control over what goes into their film, but each entry must include the line of dialogue “I thought it was for everyone”. Entries are judged during Southampton Film Week.
Students on our Level 3 Media Production course created some fantastic entries, and the following three have been entered into the competition:
Entry 1
‘A Soft Touch’ – Featuring Travel
By Lucas, Toby, Shannon, Emma, Katie and Teodora
Entry 2
‘A Soft Touch’ – Featuring the Lake
By Jamie
Entry 3
‘A Soft Touch’ – Featuring the Poison
By Jamie, Josh, Cameron, Jack, Ethan and Luc
Good luck to our entrants! Results will be announced in November.
