Health Fair encourages students to broaden knowledge

Students and staff at Farnborough College of Technology took the opportunity to learn about improving their health and lifestyle on Monday 23rd March during the college’s annual Health Fair.

Held in the canteen area of the college, representatives from The Anaphylaxis Campaign, Oakdale Dental Practice, Mytime Active, Rushmoor & Surrey Heath Community First Responders, NHS Blood Donation, CoppaFeel (breast cancer awareness) and the college’s own Sport Maker were available to talk to people about opportunities to help themselves and others stay healthy.

Steph Stocker, Student Services Officer at the college, said:

This is a very useful event for our students, as it encourages them to broaden their knowledge of leading a healthy life in ways beyond healthy eating and regular exercise.

The college also supports students’ health and well-being through its counselling service, enrichment activities and on-site gym.
