Sandra, who achieved a First in her BA (Hons) Graphic Design Degree, said “I am so grateful to my three amazing tutors in Graphic Design.
“[My tutors] were always supportive, helpful and encouraging throughout my three years at University Centre Farnborough, and I truly believe that there is no other university where you would receive more individual attention and small class sizes.”
Marion, 22, from Farnborough, just gained a First in her BA (Hons) Business Management (Top-up) Degree, and is starting her new job in Sales on Monday.
Marion said: “I came to study at Farnborough after two years at a university in Brittany. It was interesting to see the difference between studying in France, and studying in the UK. You have to be a lot more organised, which my course really helped with.
“It’s also really helped with my confidence – I’m normally quite confident, but when I came to Farnborough my English wasn’t very good – I’m from France originally – but on this course you have to talk to other people, make conversation, and often have to present to groups of people. Now my English is much better, and I’m more confident.
“My tutors were all amazing. They always asked me if I needed help, and my personal tutor gave me some tips when I was doing my dissertation, as I’d never done one before.
“I think it’s been a really good experience studying here because of the small class sizes which means it’s easier to speak to tutors, and to make friends. It’s really like a small family.
“I’m starting work in Sales on Monday, but I’m also interested in marketing, so maybe in about 5-10 years I’ll do my Marketing qualification too!”
