Over 25 local companies and employers visited us to take part in our Careers and Employability Fair, giving students and the public an opportunity to talk about employment, Apprenticeships, and training.
Throughout the day the University Centre Farnborough building was buzzing with noise as the visiting employers were joined by our current students, and over 300 students and staff from local schools including Cove, Sandhurst, Fernhill, Costello, and the newly formed Alderwood school.
At 4pm the event became open to the public, and we had over 90 people visiting to talk to employers, and visit us for our first Higher Education and Part Time course open event of the calendar year.
Below are the employers who visited the college, with a little more information about who they are, and what they do!

We were delighted to be rated as ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission in 2017.
The Inspector said about us: “There was a strong visible person centred culture within the service. A model of personalised and compassionate care, which focused on the whole person was a golden thread that ran through the whole of the service.”
It all begins with the type of individual we recruit to care for our clients – compassion is more important than experience. Our CAREGivers are chosen for their compassion and respect for vulnerable people. They are trained to a high standard, and have specialist on-going training such as Dementia Awareness City and Guilds which allows the CAREGiver to have a greater understanding of the condition their client may be living with.
When you have regular clients you look forward to seeing them, and the time you spend with them may be the best part of their day and yours!
