Mayor of Rushmoor Inspires Students
Cllr Steve Masterson, the Mayor of Rushmoor, visited the College this January to speak to students about his role and the work he’s involved in.

The talk was open to all students, with A Level Politics students taking a particular interest. As well as learning about what’s involved in the role of mayor, students also had an opportunity to learn more with a question and answer session.
It was a real pleasure to be able to spend time, with Politics Students at the College today.
I really enjoyed the thought provoking questions.
It was nice to hear Your thoughts about local, and national matters as regards politics in general, and the Mayoral Role.

This talk was just one of many ways our students learn about how their subject functions in the real world. We hope that students left feeling inspired and informed about how they can participate in both politics and democracy.
