We are delighted to announce that University Centre Farnborough has recently received accreditation from the International Moving Image Society.
The IMIS is a long established and respected professional body, uniquely placed to support and assure industry relevance in media production courses. Our graduates from the BA (Hons) Media Production degree can gain the designation that they are a member of the International Moving Image Society.
The degree is taught by industry-trained lecturers at Farnborough College of Technology, with the degree being awarded by the University of Surrey.
The accreditation also gives our students exclusive access to a range of events, talks and screenings only available to members.
The visiting IMIS panel told the team “you have a lot to shout about and you really should be flying the flag, your students are producing excellent work thanks to the commitment, support and knowledge of their tutors”.
Programme Manager of media, Nik Turner, described the accreditation as worthy recognition for all of the hard work the team put into the degree to give students the employability skills needed to enter industry.
