Then a career in Health and Social Care might be a good choice for you – and there’s still time to apply for a course starting in 2017.
Health Care involves jobs where medical treatment is prominent, such as becoming a doctor, nurse, dentist or support staff, whereas Social Care can involve working with people of all ages when they need help. This could be for a short amount of time or for many years.
Studying Health and Social Care at Farnborough College of Technology involves:
- The Frimley Park Nursing Cadet Scheme: Level 3 students have access to apply
- Purpose-built classrooms that link to the workplace
- Lecturers who bring lessons to life with their own experiences of work
- Placements in local health and social care settings
- The potential to progress right through to degree-level courses
We offer Health and Social Care at three levels. Students with five GCSEs at A*-C can join our Level 3 course, however our Level 2 and Level 1 courses may be a better choice if you need to work up to a higher level because of lower GCSE grades.

Your training could start this September, as you can still apply for a course with us even if you’ve already applied for another college or course.
