Students Gather Bra Donations for Charity

Students across the College and University Centre have been collecting unwanted bras to be donated to the Smalls For All charity. The charity distributes underwear and bras to those who cannot access or afford them.

Lecturers Agnes Wisnieska and Jane Habgood mentioned the charity to their students and received an overwhelming response of support, with students from our BA Hons Criminology and Year 2 Art and Design courses gathering over 50 bras for the charity. The donations will go to children and women in Africa and the UK, helping to remove barriers to education/work and improve health and hygiene concerns.

Lecturer Jane Habgood commented: “We would like to thank all of the students that collected donations for this charity, making a difference in the lives of others.”
