SMEs and Microbusinesses: Extra Support on your Doorstep

Make the most of our Communication Centre

Designed for SMEs and Microbusinesses, our Communication Centre is a professional workspace with Wi-Fi access, print facilities, a meeting room and spaces for both individual and collaborative working.

Grow your business with a student workforce

Our very best degree and technical students are ready to support your business – with little or no costs involved. Students can support with tasks such as:

  • Telephone Surveys
  • Data Entry
  • Market Research
  • Managing Emails
  • Updating Contact Lists
  • Making/answering Telephone Calls
  • Proofreading
  • Compiling Data
  • Organising Digital Files

Finally – Microbusinesses can benefit from student work experience too

We know that microbusinesses cannot always offer students an appropriate work experience, either because their business is run from home or while traveling. Our unique workspace will provide a solution to hundreds of small businesses who are currently missing out on extra support.

Other benefits to working with our students:

  • Cost-effectively reach and develop talented students with a view to potentially recruiting them – before other organisations do
  • Play a role in resolving the UK’s skill shortage
  • Trial students before considering them for an apprenticeship or employment
  • Develop aspiring managers through the coaching or mentorship of a student
  • Have an extra pair of hands and a fresh perspective in your business
  • Feel supported and belong to a new network of employers. We will be in regular contact with you, ensure students have an existing knowledge of your industry, and minimise the amount of admin work needed on your part
