Apprenticeship Inductions for 2021
Welcome to your apprenticeship whether you are a new starter or returning for your 2nd or 3rd year. The College has recently developed an online induction module which has various videos and important and useful information for you as a new or returning learner and will act as a good reminder and refresher periodically. Please log onto Moodle through the following link and work your way through these ensuring that you pay particular attention to the Safeguarding and Health and Safety section and induction checklist. https://vle.farn-ct.ac.uk/course/view.php?id=1535. Your apprenticeship contact will discuss and question you on some of these subjects throughout your apprenticeship.
Access to the apprenticeship service for NEW Apprentices
If you are new to apprenticeship this year, you may have received an automated email invitation from the apprenticeship service to create a ‘My apprenticeship’ account. If you have not received it yet, you will receive it once the digital account has been matched with your employer. From 26 August 2021, all apprentices are now able to create an account to view their apprenticeship details set between the Company and the College. This only applies for new apprentices that started this academic year.
An account will allow apprentices to:
- confirm their apprenticeship details are correct as the apprenticeship starts
- access guidance on what is expected of them, their training provider, and their employer
- access additional support
- access and review their apprenticeship details throughout the apprenticeship
