University Centre Farnborough – How to Apply

Applying for full-time courses

To start your full-time higher education course with University Centre Farnborough, you can either apply through the University and College Admissions Services (UCAS) or directly through our online application system.

You’ll receive a response via email

explaining if you have an offer, and whether it has any conditions. This is also a good time to apply for student finance if this is how you would like to fund your course. Scroll down for more information on this

including all the benefits of studying at Farnborough and what services are available to you

You can choose to accept your offer

either via UCAS or by responding to us via email if you applied via our website

You can join our welcome coffee morning

where you’ll meet your new lecturers and classmates

Enrol and start your course

and look forward to your new journey!

Recognition of prior learning and experience

We are happy to consider applications for entry to later stages of a course on the basis of higher education qualifications gained at another college or university or have relevant experience from employment or voluntary work.

International students

We welcome applications from international students with qualifications considered equivalent to our general entrance requirements. The process for apply is the same as the full-time courses above.

If English is not your first language, evidence of your ability will need to be supplied with your applications. IELTS 6.5 is required.

Students with a disability

If you consider yourself to have any kind of disability please include this information in your application. This allows us to make sure you have any support you need in place before beginning your course.

Student Finance England have created a useful website to explain student finance and how to apply, for both students and parents/guardians. Visit their website to find out more.

Useful information

Our usual application deadline via UCAS is during the January before you wish to start, although it is possible to apply online to us at any time. Visit www.ucas.com or telephone 0371 4680468 for all deadline and information on applying.
