Outdoor Play Area
During your child’s time at Bookworms they will get to experience a wide variety of activities:
Snacks and Lunches:
All meals served at the nursery are prepared and cooked by the College's refectory. Dietary requirements for allergies, intolerances, and/or religious needs are catered for. The nursery garden has a space for growing fruits and vegetables, and the children are encouraged to help look after the plants. These fruits and vegetables are then used at snack times or as part of the main meal.
"Bookworms is one of the best nurseries in the area. Parent-friendly, flexible, value for money. Our children enjoyed going to Bookworms and the staff are so caring and thoughtful. Bookworms have been absolutely amazing for our children. The staff are very friendly and always happy to discuss the progress of the children. Overall an excellent nursery with well trained, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Management are excellent and they are fantastic at answering any questions you may have as a parent. Very highly recommended."

"My son is almost 4 and has attended Bookworms since he was 4 months old. I chose Bookworms because the staff are lovely, supportive and welcoming. The nursery is equipped with everything a child needs for play, learning and development. All activities are thought out and planned fantastically, and the children have many opportunities to use other departments at the college (for example, the music department). Bookworms also has people come in to read stories, and participate in other areas of learning which is a fantastic resource to have!
The children have access to a garden which has bikes, scooters, climbing equipment, and so much more. The communication between staff and parents is amazing, and I am always kept up to date with my son's progress. All achievements are celebrated and the children are always smiling and laughing when I am in the nursery. My son has an amazing relationship with all staff and his keyworker, and he always comes home very happy and can't wait to start his next day at nursery. Overall, my experiences are very positive and I think Bookworms is amazing!"

“Both my daughters have been attending bookworms for the past two years and they both truly love it there. I feel that the staff do not just carry out their jobs to an excellent standard but they genuinely care for the children. My daughters constantly come home happy and singing the songs they have learnt that day as well as explaining what work and play they carried out. Bookworms also do a lot of walks and outdoor education and play, which my daughters not only love but I feel is important within their development. I would recommend Bookworms to any parent and thank you all for the wonderful job you are doing with my girls.”

Farnborough College of Technology
As an Ofsted-registered nursery, we are pleased with Ofsted’s comments that: “staff are skilled in providing for children’s individual needs, ensuring every child makes good progress”, and that we “secure effective partnerships with parents.” Our aim is to provide a broad and balanced curriculum, meeting the needs of the individual child. All children will be given opportunities to develop as individuals, be encouraged to express themselves and feel a sense of achievement in their own learning.
