During your final two years at secondary school, you can also choose to study a college course with us as one of your options.

By taking one of your options at Farnborough College of Technology you will:

Our courses will help to prepare you for further education, and the workplace, while you continue to study towards your GCSEs. The varied curriculum we offer will allow you to choose from a range of different vocational subjects which will develop your practical and technical skills. Our tutors have industry experience, and are therefore able to lead by example, and pass on their skills to each and every student they teach. By focusing on personal motivation, wellbeing, teamwork and respect, we aim to cultivate an environment where you feel prepared not only for employment, but also for your post-16 education.

We hope that you will continue onto our full-time college courses once you have finished your 14-16 course – we have a range of Vocational Courses, A Levels and Apprenticeships for you to choose from.

Experience Project-based Learning

Project-based learning is a valuable part of your course you will participate in projects to develop your collaborative and independent learning skills (OCR stem project).

Why is your project important?

Technology is changing the world! For example, how we live our lives, how we study, banking, entertainment and health care. Most of the jobs of the future don’t even exist yet! Help to future-proof your education and develop skills in innovation, digital technology, and entrepreneurism.
