Go to university with an Access to Higher Education Diploma in Hampshire

The tuition fee for an Access to Higher Education Diploma can be covered using a similar type of loan to those used by university students. The government’s Advanced Learner Loan is:

  • Only repayable when you start earning over £26,575 per year
  • Not dependent on your income and there are no credit checks
  • Written off if you go on to complete a Higher Education course, the course must be eligible for student finance

  • Is an Access to Higher Education course classed as higher education? It isn’t, but it prepares you for higher education courses such as degrees, HNCs and others.
  • Are Access to Higher Education courses equivalent to A Levels? Access courses are broadly equivalent to two-three A Levels.
  • How long is an Access to Higher Education course? We teach Access courses over one year.
