During our latest inspection by Ofsted in November 2011, we were officially rated as an ‘Outstanding’ college.

The mission of the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) is to safeguard the public interest in sound standards of higher education qualifications and to inform and encourage continual improvement in the management of the quality of higher education.

As part of this mission, the QAA undertakes reviews of higher education provision delivered in further education colleges.

Following a review in March 2017, the following judgements were made about standards and quality:

  • Confidence that academic standards are reliable, meet UK requirements, and are
    reasonably comparable
  • Confidence that the quality of the student academic experience meets baseline
    regulatory requirements
