This short introduction to videography is perfect for those who want to gain an understanding of this innovative and creative medium. During this course, you will study the following sessions:

  • Session 1: Introduction to Videography 
  • Session 2: Introduction to video editing in Premiere Pro 
  • Session 3: Basic Techniques in Premiere Pro 
  • Session 4: Advanced Techniques in Premiere Pro 
  • Session 5: Final Outcome

What modules are covered?

Session 1: Introduction to Videography 

Discussing and investigating different camera angles and shoots. Shooting videos with live models, practicing with different cameras, alongside the guidance of the tutor.  

 

Session 2: Introduction to video editing in Premiere Pro 

Familiarization with Premiere Pro projects and customizing workplaces, optimizing the program for efficient usage. Working with the footage from previous week: importing and organizing media (video, audio and graphics), discovering resolutions, sequences and transitions. 

 

Session 3: Basic Techniques in Premiere Pro 

Explaining the Editing Tools, Video and Audio properties. Investigating more complicated transitions, styles, practicing masking and video effects. 

 

Session 4: Advanced Techniques in Premiere Pro 

Investigating titles and graphics, applying colour corrections and grading. Planning final outcome video considering techniques and options to create a personalized piece of work. 

 

Session 5: Final Outcome 

Create and finesse a final piece of work individually, based on the techniques learnt on the previous sessions with the guidance of the tutor. Personally discussing individual needs and solutions with the tutor. Review of products.
