Overview
About the course
This course is for anyone wishing to assess qualifications in the lifelong learning sector in the work environment and/or simulated environments. Specifically it is for those who assess in the work environment, using the assessment methods for learners’ work activities, i.e. observation of performance in the work environment, examining products of work, questioning the learner, using professional discussions, using others (witness testimony), looking at learner statements and recognising prior learning.
The course is delivered via three online workshops and/or 1 to 1 tutorial support until the completion of the award. You will need to have two candidates you can assess who are working towards a vocational qualification and you will need the support of an internal verifier qualified in your vocational area.
This course will enable candidates to assess in the area in which they have experience and can be used for part or full-time employment anywhere in the country.
