About the course

You will explore the varied roles of the protective services and the civic duties they carry out in the UK and overseas. You will study a variety of protective services including the police, military, government, security, and voluntary agencies.

Who is this programme for?

This course is delivered over two days per week. Applicants with APL from employment in the UPS sector or with a previous Lv5 qualification can apply.

What will I study?

Using a mixture of classroom learning, practical sessions, and taught by industry experts, this programme has been designed to give you the skills needed to enter the protective services workplace. Our lectures come from ex and serving Police and Military backgrounds, giving you access to current experiences and examples.
