About the course
Whether you already work in the beauty or health sectory, want to start a new career or simply want to learn for fun, this 25 week course will give you the skills and confidence to provide reflexology treatments.
Who is this programme for?
Students that have completed the Beauty Therapy Level 3 qualification or therapists that want to extend their working skills with the addition of reflexology.
Costs
If you are aged 19 or over and are starting a course at level 3 to level 6 you may qualify for an Advanced Learner Loan from the Government which can cover the costs of your tuition fees.

Your course
What modules are covered?
You will study the following:
- The principles and practice for complimentary therapies
- Business practice for complimentary therapies
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathology for complementary therapies
- Reflexology practice and healthy eating and well being.
How will I be assessed?
The programme comprises of a number of on and offsite case studies with clients. Students will be expected to complete a variety of assessments; practical assessments working on clients, written assignments/tasks, oral and written questions as well as online exams.
What training will be provided?
You will be able to carry out some of the case studies on clients in our salon along with theory sessions to cover the anatomy and physiology content. Guidance and support will be given by a tutor in all aspects.

Level 4 Diploma in Salon Management or employment within the Beauty Industry.
Entry Requirements
What previous qualifications and experience will I need?
A good standard of education, enthusiasm and commitment and a level 2 or level 3 beauty therapy qualification.
If English is not the first language, applicants will be asked to do a Diagnostic Test; this will determine the appropriate course and level for each student.
