Overview

About the course

This course is ideal for School Leavers who want to pursue a career in biology, chemistry of physics. It is equivalent to three A Levels and provides a route into university or higher education.

The Applied Science course enables students to develop a broad understanding of a wide range of scientific principles and procedures in all three sciences. If you have a real interest in Science and prefers coursework to exams, the Applied Science course is a good background for further study and employment in many scientific areas

The content of the course represents how all three major science disciplines are employed in real situations and therefore the students will be required to apply their knowledge to a range of different organisations that use science

A variety of teaching and learning styles are used all with the aim of providing you with the skills required to complete the assignments. You will become more confident in many areas including team working, independent research and time management.
