The Level 3 Award in Advanced Welding Skills is ideal if you have previous experience of welding but want to develop your skills further. This could be to build on your skills acquired at Level 2 or through competence in the workplace. The course is designed to enable you to gain welding skills and knowledge to a level that will allow you to progress to more complex work and job positions.

Your course
How will I be assessed?
There are nine single unit qualifications available at this Level. To gain this qualification, you must successfully complete five practical assignments and an online knowledge test.

An Award in Advanced Welding Skills could help you develop your welding career and take on jobs that require specialist welding skills. On completion of the Level 3 award, you could also move on to a Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Fabrication and Welding Engineering.
