About the course
This course is ideal for School Leavers who want to pursue a career in human performance, sport coaching or sport science. It is equivalent to three A Levels and provides a route into university or higher education.
This course provides the underpinning knowledge required for degrees in sport and sport science or to train towards studying industry recognised qualifications such as the Level 3 in Personal Training and membership of the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPS).
Start as a college student, finish as a graduate
After successfully completing this course you also benefit from the chance to stay with us at University Centre Farnborough. This gives you a path to graduating with a degree or higher education course without the costs of moving away, all while studying in a familiar and supportive environment.

What previous qualifications and experience will I need?
From School
- Five GCSEs at grades 9-4
- To include English and maths GCSEs at 9-4
From College
- Relevant level 2 qualification at merit grade or higher
- English and maths at level 2 or higher
