For students who have achieved a Level 2 Hairdressing qualification and are working commercially on the shop floor running a column of clients or as a self employed stylist.
Students and apprentices that have just gained Level 2 and are progressing onto Level 3. Stylists working commercially that want to gain the Level 3 qualifications.

If you are aged 19 or over and are starting a course at Level 3 to Level 6 you may qualify for an Advanced Learner Loan from the government, which can cover the costs of your tuition fees.

Assessments in all units are undertaken in College, and are a mixture of theory and practical work. Apprentices also have off site assessments.
Your practical work on clients will be observed by an assessor and marked. Some modules have exams, these are sat online.
Evidence and client feedback will need to be collated as evidence.
Theory will deliver the underpinning knowledge and our client base will provide practical skills to develop and perfect skills to a Level 3 standard.
Foundation Degree in Salon Management or an Assessor Award then on to formal teaching.
On successful completion of the course you will achieve a NVQ Level 3 qualification.

Interviews and enrolment will take place during our part time enrolment sessions from June to September to provide advice and guidance.
Certificated with a Level 2 Ladies Hairdressing qualification and working in commercially. Students will be screened to check literacy and numeracy. In addition, if English is not the first language, applicants will be asked to do a Diagnostic Test. Apprentices must have grade C or above or level 2 functional skill in Math and English.
